ABP has grown into an international business but we never forget our roots. Find out where we’re coming from, as a business and as people.
ABP’s vision is simple. To be the best at everything we do. Being a market leader comes with responsibilities. You also have to lead on quality, traceability and sustainability.
It’s our responsibility as leaders in the market to show the way, and encourage our entire industry to follow a sustainable path.
This is ABP’s Advantage Beef Programme, a dynamic new enterprise partnership that helps farmers build a sustainable beef business.
There’s so many amazing people who make it happen at ABP every day. We pride ourselves on a culture of fairness and respect, where every person gets an equal chance to grow and develop. In fact, many have worked up through a number of roles in the business.
Read below to get to know some of our people a little better.
Boning Hall Transport Manager, Cahir
Anastasia is from Estonia. In 2009, she started working in ABP Cahir’s Boning Hall as a General Operative. Since then she’s worked in various positions within the Boning Hall such as on the Trimming Line, Packing Line and on the PAD Line. From 2015 to 2019, Anastasia was in Quality Control which required a keen eye for detail and knowledge. She also supervised the Packing area for a few years, which required excellent communication and organisational skills.
In Summer 2022, she was promoted to Transport Manager at ABP’s Boning Hall Office. Anastasia feels lucky to have had the chance to work with great people that she now calls her friends. She believes ABP offers fantastic opportunities to progress one’s career and make a real difference.
